RICHARD W. NORTON
Richard W. Norton is President of I.P.D. Hospitality, Inc., overseeing the operations of the company's hotel assets throughout the United States.
Prior to this position, Mr. Norton was President of Lodging Unlimited, Inc. Working for Lodging Unlimited since the age of fifteen, Mr. Norton has developed his knowledge of the hospitality industry through hands on operations experience. Taking full advantage of Lodging Unlimited's management training program early in his career, he obtained the position of General Manager at age 21, running a full service hotel in Arkansas.
Since his first General Manager position, Mr. Norton has operated numerous facilities for Lodging Unlimited including Holiday Inns, Ramada Inns, Hilton Inns, Days Inns and other franchise facilities. During the late 1980's and early 1990's, Mr. Norton was responsible for the operation of 28 limited service hotels and Lodging Unlimited's own chain, Save Inn.
Currently, as President of I.P.D. Hospitality, Inc., Mr. Norton concentrates on the sales, marketing and operations of I.P.D.'s portfolio of hotel, motels, restaurants and other service industry properties. Along with these responsibilities, he utilizes his many years of experience for consulting, asset management and study work for the hospitality industry.
